Mission Editor - Cannot Save Non-Weapon Mods in Weapon Mods Dialog

Brief description: If you choose a non-weapon mod (such as a Ju-87 siren or armour) in the Weapon Mods dialog, the mod is reset to "none" when you reopen the dialog.

 

Detailed description, conditions:

 

Problem spotted by user NETSCAPE in this post.

 

As an example of the problem, I create a new SP mission, place a Ju-87 and make it a linked entity. Then, I open the Weapon Mods dialog, choose ju87d3_siren, and click OK. The number in the "WeaponMods" box remains "1" and when I reopen the Weapon Mods dialog, my siren choice has reverted to "none".

 

Workaround:

 


    1. In the Weapon Mods dialog, select a weapon mod (e.g. sc1800), and a non-weapon mod (e.g., siren, armour, etc.) and click OK.

    2. Reopen the Weapon Mods dialog and select "None" for the weapon mod (assuming you do not want a weapon mod) and click OK.

 

    If you reopen the Weapon Mods dialog, the non-weapon mods should still be selected.
