Mission loads on my server, but not my mate's

I created a mission, attached below, which I am able to load into my DServer. I can run and play the mission on my own server, which I host from my computer.

The problem is, when my buddy loads the mission, using all the same settings as I do, the mission does not load.

Why can I load it and he cannot?

He can load a stock mission and we can get in just fine, so that suggests the problem is with the mission file itself.

I have attached the mission for review. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Does he place the mission in the exact folder given in the .list file for the mission?

I will check...

From the .list:

filename="multiplayer/dogfight/defending the eagle co-op (12 players)-h.eng","716a5260"
filename="multiplayer/dogfight/defending the eagle co-op (12 players)-h.fra","1e8de353"
filename="multiplayer/dogfight/defending the eagle co-op (12 players)-h.ger","d13a686d"
filename="multiplayer/dogfight/defending the eagle co-op (12 players)-h.pol","2edad808"
filename="multiplayer/dogfight/defending the eagle co-op (12 players)-h.rus","b4f50d63"
filename="multiplayer/dogfight/defending the eagle co-op (12 players)-h.spa","4742cd2f"

 All accounted for and in the right place

Though it only lists the language files, not the mission or msnbin files

Assuming everything else is correct... the actual mission file(s) is missing. It can't be downloaded by others.

Players do not need the .mission file, only the .msnbin file (which is what is run by the DServer), the .list file, and the language files for the languages that are used in the mission. You can include the .mission file if you like, but it increases mission download time significantly.

The .list file is not supposed to include .mission and .msnbin. You only need to check the directory that is specified so that you can place the mission in the correct directory on the DServer.

I assume that the symptoms for this problem are given in this post, right? Try confirming that you have the correct Server IP address specified in the .sds file that you are using (see "Server IP" on pg. 328 of the editor manual).

The mission itself looks OK, btw.

Regardless.... the .msnbin file isn't there either.

could you show content  of .list file?

list file is not the problem, even after generating it DServer can't load the file. Something in the mission. If you select all nodes and delete them, the mission loads. It means there is something with one of the nodes that's not right, but I have no idea which one.

Okay, I can check them.

I just need to know what a node IS.
