Berloga Server Multiplayer Newbie: Protocol/Etiquette/Conventions?

Hi, I am new to this and hopped on the server the other day, and am not sure I understand the protocol. From what I can make out there are multiple "paired" off spawn sites available for duels and you are not allowed to interfere with ongoing duels. So do folks arrange to meet up online at a particular time and duel? If this, how do you find/coordinate with opponents? Or do you just take an unoccupied slot and fly around until someone else spawns in your duel site? I tried this the other day, and flew around in circles for a long time but nobody turned up. Havent been in this server for a while but i would guess that you could join the server and spectate or join the furball area and then find someone in the chat who would like a 1v1 duel.

Most people ask in chat if someone wants a duell.
