I am new to BoS MP but experienced in CloD and IL1946 MP  and I only use full real servers.   Navigation isn't a problem, if for some reason it is a problem I enable the map and look for terrain features such as rivers,  forests, etc.

Anyway, I went on a couple of servers that seemed full real (and had a good number of players) but have a few questions that need help with.

1.   How do you know which servers on the server list are full real  (BoS i think uses the term 'expert')?  (even in the server forum where the server hosts have their own threads they dont actually state in the opening description  their realism level)

2   Can you use the map in 'expert' ? -  I cant even see Map listed in the key settings so no key set at the moment.

3.  Looking at posts in the server forum,  references are made to GPS as an aid to navigation in some servers.    How do you use this if its enabled in a server?

4.   How do you bring up current mission stats (who is in the server, scores, etc)?   (can't find any key setting for that either)

5.   The briefing shows map,  airbase locations, targets, etc.   Is that map orientated correctly regards true N and S?   I spawned in a Red air base and the targets were 240 degrees SW  from that airbase.    Took off and used HUD compass bearing 240 but no targets and eventually spent the rest of the mission looking for a friendly airbase.

Many thanks......really like the sim now, last time I fired it up was two years ago, its certainly improved since then......

2, (map button to bind or look for is "Briefing screen" button)

3, GPS is a little arrow on the main map (breifing screen) so you can see your position in the game (just open the map (o by default) then (i key) turns on and off GPS marker

4, Tab (Scoreboard is the key binding to look for) or press escape then you have choice of statistics (shows only first 15 players per team with scores) Or player list, (Shows all players ingame without scores listed)

5, Like All maps in almost every case they are ALWAYS orientated to the north (there is no other way to hold or look at a map thats not.. stupid :D )
