Full throttle on HOTAS only equals maximum of 79% throttle in-game?

Using a Thrustmaster Cougar.

 

Pull throttle fully back, engine equals 0%

 

Push throttle fully forward, engine fluctuates around 79%

 

I also set up a rotary for prop pitch but this has no effect.

 

Went into the curves, changed settings, still the maximum is around 79%

 

What is it that I am missing?

For what plane, for some this is possible, but not for all.

CLOD isn't a calibration tool, lol

 

I would look at the setting in the inputs and also check to see if your flying in advanced mode instead of normal arcade mode.

 

I just checked my wheel/or rotaries and they work when assigned to the hotas.

Mysticpuma, I'm having the same problem as well. Dont let these guys tell you it's your hardware. I recalibrated and my problem still persists with my Logitech 3D extreme. I unplugged the controller and it fixed it for a short time. Problem came back.

I was simply indicating that the throttle works fine in windows and the throttle registers it's full movement. When using it in CloD the game registers the full throttle movement. When I run BoS, the throttle shows full range of movement in the graphs yet when I fly in-game, my throttle only gives 79-81% engine power when pushed fully forward.

Depending on your difficulty settings, the game may be preventing you from going full throttle to avoid damaging the engine. This is why Mastiff says "check to see if your flying in advanced mode instead of normal arcade mode".

In one case, I was running the normal difficulty settings on my server. Coupled with cold weather in autumn, it prevented the throttle from going above 30%!

There were also bugs with calibration of the throttle which you experienced mostly with twin engines, but I think they have been fixed now. Mostly. I still had a case where I had 0% throttle from 0 to 50% lever position. I solved it by disabling engine controls (keys 1 and 2), moving the throttle up and down a couple of times, then enable engine control again.

I use a leo bodnar usb card for throttle and this interface took it well. Very seldom there are some with problems and their hardware is never the same. I guess you are quite custom to control settings for multiple simulators . So I take it you have a genuine problem.

If all are tried and you have tried to re set them on COD and they still work right there, my guess is a hickup in your install. It might be an idea to reinstal BO[x] and see if that solves it. I hope someone can give a better advice before you do.
