VR Map use

Does anyone have any advice on map use in VR mode?  I can get it to open but cannot seem to orient it.

I have not figured out how to move the map around from right corner of the screen , my mouse just moves the view around ( maybe I should somehow disable this function?)or enlarge it ( other than the two stock sizes) in regular play...is it possible if so how?

Oh the minimap cannot be moved. I was talking about the big map (key O).

Yeah, this confused me too at first.  As a ROF player I thought it was the same map system.  

 

I do wonder, is there any way to "push" some of the HUD back?  Its easy to miss messages when the system messages are up in the air and game messages in the bottom left.

I dont think there is much customization other than whats in the main menu (technochat etc)
