6./ZG26_Gielow Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Flying this great SIM since launch, now I become to identify clearly as real life trained crew man fatigue and combat trauma on our online crews and squads everywhere. Lack of planning, rage quits, intolerance to failure, friendly fire, people going mad at forums thread, server quitting due to unfavorable targets location, increase on take off and landing accidents, stats whoring, unreasonable server rules, even people avoiding flying and fighting, squads losing members, etc, etc, etc. Actually it is a compliment to Devs team on product quality for replicating such emotions on regular people that are not trained to face the heavy burden of continuous operation.
HagarTheHorrible Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I think you need to take a break, you're becoming delusional. Go have a nice cold beer, chill out and remember it's all just pretend. 3
Guest deleted@30725 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 People take this game way too seriously.
darbyjack Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Yes some guy sent me a private message here after a game saying he'll break my fingers, amongst some other insults.
BlitzPig_EL Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 And folks wonder why so many have walked away from combat flight simulation... It's a freaking game. Get over yourselves already. sheesh. 1

ShamrockOneFive Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Sounds like things that people do when playing games. We even find it here in flight sims...

Wow... just wow. You're comparing a game to real life combat, and the associated mental injuries? Seriously?! If you want to go to the toilet, you can. Real military pilots often have to go in their pants. If your fuel tanks get set on fire and your wings get torn off, you hit control + e and respawn. Real military pilots die. If your wingman gets shot down, you laugh about it together over your headsets. Real military pilots have to live with what they've seen for the rest of their lives. This is just insane. Cybermat47 Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 What is this topic about anyway? :S From what I can gather, Gielow thinks the game gave him PTSD
ZachariasX Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Where is raaaid? I would have guessed he'd be comfortable in this thread...
