Yep, Friday updates on the old IL2 forums was something I always looked forward too!

But probably a bit to soon to start  looking yet, lol!

I really do have high hopes for this. Cliffs of Dover was indeed a very bitter disappointment, but 777 taking the lead? I think we're going to be getting something special here.

I'm very happy with the intial announcement, ROF have an excellent sim and quality aircraft with excellent flight models. I like Cod, it works on my pc and the graphics are excellent but too many were disappointed with it. I hope that the Sdk will be released so that the talented folks can get some of the other flyable, But I understand that the decision has been made and we have to accept what we get, and glad of it. I would hope that the developers can combine the progress that has been made in the virtual cockpits and what we get is an enjoyable immersive sim that can expand and we get most aircraft flyable in a year or so from release.

Could be interesting, as usual, patience required, none of these sims were built in a day

777 Studio's have a very good track record at updating their sim and communicating with their community. I am looking forward to IL-2: BoS and the franchise as a whole moving forward.

Not too much trouble with 777.  Rise of Flight would have died in its infancy had 777 not taken the reigns from neoqb.  And I hope 777 can do it again here.
