Ala13_pienoir Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Because reason there is no mas life in the world il2? Is it for the load of work of the CPU? I refer to Birds, flocks of animals, civilians. Terrestrial activity in the airports with diverse animations, mechanics, signs on having landed,Pilots running to the planes in the middle of an air raid.......etc,etc Serious possible this? was pretty silly? regards!!
DD_Arthur Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Serious possible this? was pretty silly? regards!! Was pretty silly? No, I don't think so. I'm not sure if we need birds, cattle or civilians or even animations but it really would be nice to give all those airfields a feeling of activity. More parked aircraft, vehicles, stores lying around - that sort of stuff would be most welcome. Hopefully a Mods On mode will give us the ability to populate airfields.

Hi! I think it is 100% possible, and very good idea! It is due to lack of human activities and animations, I've lost my interest for BOS, and have no interest either to buy the following series (BOM, BOOK, and ...) and wait until such features are introduced, because these give more life-like environment to the game, hope the developers also realize this, as effects and features like these will distinguish this series from other flight simulators marketed so far.
THERION Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Hello folks, I think all things mentioned would increase the feeling of being there and enhance the immersion experience too. But on the other hand, speaking about life-like environment, don't you think virtual pilots should also behave a bit more life-like with their virtual lives? I mean, does it make sense to have a super life-like environment with all details, but still having pilots who don't care about their virtual life and behave like kamikaze pilots? Attacking in a outnumbered situation with only few rounds left and low on fuel, instead of heading home and stay alive for another day to combat? Cheers
Ala13_pienoir Posted May 3, 2017 Author Posted May 3, 2017 I agree. Mechanics who greet you by means of a script when you take off or land. Civil vehicles for the roads that confuse and penalize you. Birds that complicate the existence. Activity extra when the airport is attacked. The ideas are great .....................
Dutchvdm Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 On some MP servers the airfield already have quite some activity going on. Crew walking around and planes that are parked for maintenance. Problem is that it all has to be build in the mission editor i think. Grt M
Ala13_pienoir Posted May 3, 2017 Author Posted May 3, 2017 (edited) So if it is like that I have not seen it. I suppose that it will be complex, but possible. The soldiers who walk along the airport are zombies. Trucks of fuel, refueling...... Officials taking papers and planes. Personnel moving bombs ............ women who say good-bye with the hand ....... Crews playing with a dog .................. that I ............ only you design. I think that this would do very much big mas to il2. EPIC Edited May 3, 2017 by E69_pienoir
=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Game Rating..Mostly its all about game rating.instant you show people being blown up and dismembered even animalsmany countries this pushes the game to M15+ or some countries even R18+ rating (for any visible human gore)this would hurt sales majorly.many games do this.

It does not mean there should be gore effect, even now there is no blood and gore effect in the game, it may continue the same way, by the way there are lots of bloody games out there that the kids have access to, and they have very high rating.
