ShamrockOneFive Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 (edited) I've done a cursory look around and it doesn't look like anyone has mentioned this yet. Has anyone seen this happen before? Bug on my side or something happening to others? EDIT: This is on an EVGA GTX 960 2GB. Edited April 25, 2017 by ShamrockOneFive
TG-55Panthercules Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 What is wrong with that picture? All I see is a plane that appears to have gone down on the other side of a few clouds that are closer to the camera - doesn't really look weird to me, so I guess I must be missing something.
=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Those clouds are much further away then the downed plane mate.. they are like 5-7km away and the plane maybe 3km
ShamrockOneFive Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 (edited) game limitations; it is known. I've never seen this specific issue crop up before actually. What is wrong with that picture? All I see is a plane that appears to have gone down on the other side of a few clouds that are closer to the camera - doesn't really look weird to me, so I guess I must be missing something. Look at the smoke and then look at the clouds. Note how the clouds are overlapping with the black smoke... the clouds are in the background and the smoke is in the foreground. I'm trying the very latest nVidia released drivers to see if it makes a difference. Stay tuned! :D Edited April 27, 2017 by ShamrockOneFive
TG-55Panthercules Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 (edited) I'll take your word for the clouds being farther away than the plane smoke, in which case there's obviously a problem, but I'm not sure how you would know that just from looking at the picture itself - from just looking at the picture it still looks to me like the clouds are closer than the plane's smoke trail. But then again, is the dress white and gold or blue and black? Edited April 28, 2017 by TG-55Panthercules
Remontti Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Some time ago using overlay (like Steam overlay) would cause problems with smoke and clouds. Didn't experience that myself but I remember reading about in forums.

1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 (edited) Bigger problems are ground explosions which are visible through clouds... Edited April 27, 2017 by 307_Tomcat
=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Bigger problems are ground explosions which are visible through clouds... Add to that. AAA fire, AAA Tracers, Gun Tracers, and other explosions. Sadly until its fixed even hiding in clouds in pointless as you can see the props from km away (black circle)
