1C has to assume the CLOD

Hello friends, I come here to present a serious question.

I am one of the CLOD veterans, I have it since launch.

We have a lot to thank TF team.

But in my view now with the departure of a member "Mysticpuma", we realize that things are not going well.

There is a question, we are waiting for an update for years, and we see little progress.

Why do you guys from 1C, a professional studio not play the game again? We're tired of waiting, waiting ...

In my opinion, the 1C had to embrace the CLOD and do the service.

This is all my repeat to the TFs, but I do not see a horizon next.Thank you.

1C is not game producer studio - like 1CGS, or the former OM studio (know as "Maddox Games" - seems that is not studio real name) and maybe became TFS.

1C is soft developer and publisher and finance games production done by contracted studios.

For example Microsoft Flight Simulator X was not produced by Microsoft, but ACES Game Studio - as part of Microsoft group, close by her in 2009.

Or 1CGS/777 studio, that is engaged in improve BoS/BoM, produce BoK and latter Pacific (don't know about work in RoF), is not "1C" done this work. See the difference?

From production point of view 1C has nothing to do with CloD code - or could have done, if deemed convenient.

In business is common programmers, artists, managers, PR's came and go. MP departure is a lost for community, maybe for TF... but he has their reasons and this is part of the business world.

So, patience and meanwhile play CloD, BoS, BoM. ;)

Yup, as Sokol1 says, there is no chance that 1C/777 are going to involve themselves in further developing CloD, if that is what you are suggesting, Germanwolf. They have their own project to work on.

As for Mysticpuma's departure from TF, we don't know the circumstances, and I think it is grossly disrespectful to him to use what appears to have been a personal decision as an excuse to spread doom and gloom about the project. TF have the source code. They have already demonstrated how much they can do without it. How about giving them a chance to show us more before writing them off?

Lol. As if. 1C most likely want to see Cliffs of Dover die a death. They've supposedly lost 10m dollars on it, no way are they expecting to make that on the TF5 release and they sure aren't going to lose any more on it.

Chances are that all this is carefully calculated to delay TF5 long enough to get their own products out the door...Midway anyone? The inside scoop is certainly that all is not well.

Andy, the source code isn't all its cracked up to be either. What's missing???

This logic is wrong, Clod was finished product with lots of bugs and TF are doing fine I suppose .. one guy responsible for PR living doesn't make TF world cramble.

We all hope MP reconsiders and comes back, and sometimes taking a break helps. He is no doubt an important member who will be missed if he decides to stay away.

As for TFS, we are continuing work towards 4.5 and 5.0 as planned.

TF5.0 is dead, only to 2018+

Just this morning several more models are about to start the import process.
