CH Throttle is *always* backwards, no matter what

[FIXED! Delete contents of /input per Sokol1 https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/6328-axis-settings/]

I can't figure this out: My CH Throttle is *always* inverted -- that is pushing up into full throttle *always* decreases throttle, and pulling back to null throttle increases throttle. Things I have tried:

- Inverting axis, restarting mission

- Inputting axis backwards (down then up, reads as -joy1_axis_z).

- Various combinations of the two above.

- Setting a dead zone, accepting out of menus, erasing dead zone.

- Working from off the main menu instead of in-mission.

- Unplugging all other joysticks / controllers.

No, it doesn't make any sense to me, either.

CH Throttle checks out in WIndows and other games.

I am not using a CH control manager software.

Throttle is properly calibrated.

I have run in VR, but problem is present in both modes.

IL-2: BOS.

I AM able to get the proper response in the settings calibration menu, at least from off the main menu, but in the cockpit the throttle is always wrong.

Any idea?

If you have the game installed in Program Files the current.map in data/input might be be write protected by Windows.

I have CH Hotas setup and my throttle is operating as it should, but I'm not using Steam, I have the download version from developers.  You might try unplugging the Throttle and plugging in back in again and rebooting the game.  I do use the CH Control Manager, do you have CM Control Center installed?.......... I always hit that in my start menu so I can choose which profile I want to use before I start a game.  I have many different ones for original IL2, DCS and BoX...

Cheers
