Strange trackIR Behaviour

First let me say that everything is up to date and there are no unwanted light sources interfering with my trackIR.

 

It centres correctly and the pilot seat position is correct.

 

The problem is when I return to looking straight through the gun sight it often (not always) will get stuck slightly off centre either up, down or side to side. To get it aligned I have to do a little head wiggle. This is getting really annoying as it normally happens right before I want to shoot making me miss! Any ideas?

 

Ps if it will not return exactly to centre as mentioned above pressing the centre button will not return it to centre. Only a little head wobble works. It is like track it is centred correctly but the game is stopping it perfectly lineing up?

Check if you have trueview enabled, if so, disable it and check what happens. I have it enabled and must say i have to wobble head sometimes. If i look up and return to gunsight trackir thought that censor is higher than it is

Have you tried to centre TiR and then also pilot head in game (numpad 5 is the default)?
