predator036 Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 When I am flying my body's position on the seat is fine and perfect, my body does not slide, when I am in video playback mode of the saved flight or in pause mode, my virtual pilot body slides smoothly in all directions as the airplane. This causes dizziness and stomach pain. Which I have to change in the menu of the game so that the pilot is held to the seat ????? Thank you for help me. Greetings.
predator036 Posted April 23, 2017 Author Posted April 23, 2017 Seventy readings and no opinion of what can be ??. Guys please any idea what may be going on ???. Thank you very much for your time. I am very grateful. Greetings.
Nibbio Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 (edited) Have you tried disabling "cinematic" camera option in settings? Edited April 23, 2017 by Nibbio
predator036 Posted April 23, 2017 Author Posted April 23, 2017 Thanks for replying Nibbio, I have disabled that option and I continue to spend that nasty movement in the playback of videos and pause. Any more ideas ??? Thanks friends. Greetings.
Nibbio Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 I have loaded the track of my first VR kill in multiplayer from yesterday trying to find out more about your problem. During playback of the track I didn't experience anything like you describe until I checked headshake in camera settings. Then my head was moving all over the place, according to the g forces. So disable that and you should be good to go (it's up on the left of the camera settings screen). Let me know how it goes.
predator036 Posted April 23, 2017 Author Posted April 23, 2017 Hello again friend Nibbio, indeed that is the movement in the recorded videos that produces dizziness and malaise, when I playing the video and move in the seat, I slide in the cabin like an astronaut in his space capsule in zero gravity, I am newbie with Il2, I've been flying since adapting to virtual reality a week ago. Please be kind enough to tell me exactly what menu option I have to touch to disable this nasty effect. It is very helpful to watch my recorded flights and correct the maneuvers and errors to continue learning to fly. I am very attentive to your answer, I activated the system of notices by email of the chat to prove immediately what you say to me. Right now I'm practicing with my Htc Vive and I can not watch the videos, I get sick. Thank you very much dear friend. Greetings
Nibbio Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 (edited) click on "settings", then "camera" you will see up left: - cockpit view - default view and immediately below a checkbox with "Head Shake"; in your case it is likely ticked. Click on the box to untick it Edited April 23, 2017 by Nibbio
predator036 Posted April 23, 2017 Author Posted April 23, 2017 Thank you very much Nibbio, you have done me a great favor, thank you for your time and for your speed in answering me. I'm going to try it and in a while, when I remove the visor Htc Vive from the face, I answer the results. If you live in Spain, you are invited to a few beers. Greetings.
HagarTheHorrible Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 Might be the cockpit canopy head restriction limits. It might be worth turning off the restriction in the settings and seeing if it has any effect. If my virtual head is to close to the front restriction then when the two connect it acts oddly and pushes the cockpit around.
predator036 Posted April 23, 2017 Author Posted April 23, 2017 Friends I tried the two options that you have told me and I have not worked either, for some reason when I play a recorded video and I have the view from inside the cabin, the view is not fixed, it slides around the cabin depending of the movements of the F109 F4. I'm crazy about this subject, any more ideas that I can play ????. Can you please try to record a flight, then playing it and move your head to see if it is the same thing as me ???? Thank you for help me. Greetings.
Nibbio Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 Predator036, what I have experienced is that watching a track with my HMD on, with Head Shake on, the head moves independently of my movements, according to g forces. However If Head Shake is off the head strictly follows my movements, tracking the movement of the HMD I'm wearing. If you can't solve the problem you can still follow the track from a different point of view (try the ALT-F2 views, they are quite interesting, or the free camera with F11, or the point of view of the other aircraft)
predator036 Posted April 23, 2017 Author Posted April 23, 2017 Friend thank you for your interest and your advice, the external views I know, I have a special interest for the reproduction of the video from inside the cabin. I have opened a ticket to the technical support to see if they know how to give a solution, I will follow you informing Of what they tell me. Thank you very much for help me. Greetings.
