Regarding the mirror display on the monitor (for streaming)

I've tried streaming my VR sessions on my Vive a few times now, and the aspect ratio that is mirrored onto my monitor makes things a bit difficult to watch. Things such as distant planes and ground targets easily become obscured and lost. Has anyone discovered a way to change the perspective so it's not mirroring in a tiny portrait orientation, but rather landscape orientation?
