Wolf8312 Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Mapped trim to my warthog flight stick but in flight it doesent seem to work, any idea what I'm doing wrong?
unreasonable Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 The main thing you are "doing wrong" is not giving us anywhere near the information needed to answer you question. If you can answer the following I am sure someone will be able to help: What plane are you flying? They do not all have all the trim options or have to be set up differently. What Realism settings have you chosen? Some of those options affect trim IIRC. What specific Settings key binds have you mapped that do not appear to work?
Wolf8312 Posted April 20, 2017 Author Posted April 20, 2017 Right don't worry about it I have a few ideas of what to do now.
Finkeren Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 (edited) A few things to check out: 1. Trim can't be mapped to an axis. 2. Some German planes have adujustible stabilizers instead of pitch trim - different controls (though you can map them to the same buttons as pitch trim with no issue) 3. Most planes have no adjustible trim on ailerons, and some have none on the rudder. 4. The I-16 has no trim at all. Edited April 20, 2017 by Finkeren

Correct and keyboard keys or joystick keys must be attributed to this functions or learned if using the default key attributions of the game.
Wolf8312 Posted April 20, 2017 Author Posted April 20, 2017 Cant be mapped to Axis? Lol well theres my problem! Thanks gents!
Yogiflight Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 The stabilizer trim in the 109s and the elevator trim in the Ju52 can be mapped on axis.
1CGS LukeFF Posted April 21, 2017 1CGS Posted April 21, 2017 The stabilizer trim in the 109s and the elevator trim in the Ju52 can be mapped on axis. And the MC202.
