Opinions? Does it cover the same ground as all the various Osprey Aces/Aircraft etc. books?

Ok, managed to get an in-depth look at it. 

 

It is a in-depth, detailed collection of short bio's. Like a who's who of WW2 VVS aviation. Great for historical research. Probably less than thrilling if you are looking for an "in the cockpit, smell the avgas and cordite" type reading.
