Saitek X52 Pro not working/being recognised.

Hi all, I have searched around a little, but not having much luck. Recently bought the game, looks great. I have my x52 all plugged in, latest drivers. I worked fine out of the box with ROF, though here I've only been able to shoot with the joystick and anything else mapped to it is not recognised unless I manually do each one, (for instance, it says yaw is controlled by the joystick, but I'm not able to use in game unless I manually map this.)

Is it an issue of the joystick not being recognised, or is it meant to be this way? Does anyone have a profile that they use? Any help would be appreciated. Coming from ROF, these birds have a little more things to do with them and I'm a little overwhelmed!

Regards!

I had that with some of the stick functions. Jerking the axis repetetly made it suddenly appear in the game. Same with the toe brakes of the combat rudder pedals. With the X-56 I have now, no problems like that. Saitek.

Hi ZachariasX

Thank you for answering, was that in the options menu or in flight? :)

Options menu. In flight was never a problem.

Ok. Got that working at least, that's pitch, roll, yaw, throttle. I am unable to use any buttons on the joystick though! They will register as being mapped, but not work in game... I've no idea! :/

I had that with some of the buttons on the Stick, they would only work if the Saitek software was running. Else they wouldn't work at all. What can I say. Saitek.

Well... I've no idea what happened, but now it works. The only thing I did do was run a single mission, instead of a quick one!? Go figure I guess, no biggie, all looks good to go now.

Biggest problem now is coming from ROF, to WW2 planes... so many stalls and crashes, don't pull back on the stick haha! (I may have done so harder out of spite, lesson learned, don't pull back on the stick!)

Thank you for your assistance. It's always nice to have people to answer queries! :)
