Hi all, my first post here and I'm a complete novice at the game :) but I'm having problems with my Thrustmaster T-flight hotas 4 not being recognized in game it's working in/on other games ok (elite & dangerous etc) and it's also being recognized in the control panel, device & printers but not in game.

I have tried mapping the controls separately in the key mapping in game and I'm still having a problem with the throttle being recognized properly, I have deleted the game downloaded and reinstalled it but still the same problem :(

I'm playing in vr with the oculus but I don't think that should have anything to do with it.

Hi soarfeat and thanks for the link, I have seen this thread already but unfortunately for some reason, the throttle is still not working correctly it is either full on or full off, when I push it forward I get 100% power but when I throttle down past the middle point on the throttle it goes straight to 0% (this is after using the key mapper in-game) and nothing in between. I was also hoping that the game would recognize the T-flight hotas 4 when plugged in but nothing does the game not recognize the different controllers?

Is there anyone else who has the Thrustmaster T-flight hotas 4 and has it working in-game, if so could they tell me how they got it working, please.

I think I have solved my throttle problem I had simplified controls ticked lol, but I'm still having a lot of trouble when trying to target ground targets trucks, aa guns, etc the plane seems to shudder all over the place when I try to aim at them :) its probably just me but is there a way to have a more controlled joystick?

If you mean pre-assigned like in War Thunder, no.

Can you post a picture of your settings for throttle curve in game (the S icon)?

Hey Oops,

Glad you got your control mapping sorted. :good:

In regards to the oscillation of the aircraft when aiming, this can be normal to a certain degree. This sim is a little sensitive with control inputs  ( rudder control in particular ). You can adjust sensitivity and dead zone settings in the control mapping . There are some good post in regards to this , however the bottom line is what works for you. My advice or at least what works for me, is to use as low values as possible due to other affects these settings have on the overall response of the aircraft with control input. I will bet in just a short while you will get a bit more comfortable with the sensitivity issue.

Enjoy the flying and welcome to the community !!!  :salute:

Thanks for the replies guys I haven't been playing for a couple of days due to other commitments, but hopefully I'll be back playing at the weekend :)
