SOLIDKREATE Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 (edited) So, I came home to this error and scoured the internet. None of the solutions worked for me at all. So, what I did was this: Powered off (hard reset). Unplugged power cord. Held power button down for 30sec (drain any start up memory powered by MB battery) Plugged the power back in Started her up And yes...you guessed it. I had to format my entire drive. However my machine is now working. Edited April 15, 2017 by 10.N./ZG1_SPEKTRE76
=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Part of the reason i went back to win 7Also win 10 don't allow you to properly install any 3rd party anti virus (even paid versions "Appear" enabled and running but they blocked by win 10)Only Windows defender works for win10 and Cannot be disabled or removed (so major security issue there obviously) 2
SOLIDKREATE Posted April 15, 2017 Author Posted April 15, 2017 If I could find my Windows 7 DVD I'd go back in a heartbeat. I still have my decal with the key on it. And since it was OEM; MS is being a bunch of snobs and not letting me download the files I need.
=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 If you already own windows 7 and have already paid for it.Ignore them and ignore the shall not copy this product..You already bought it just get another copy from somewhere. They tried to pull that crud on me with Flight Sim X (it had limited installs per purchase) once i exceeded these i had only 1 choice..Remove the need for Official verification completely. (I already owned it)

SCG_Space_Ghost Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Part of the reason i went back to win 7 A. Also win 10 don't allow you to properly install any 3rd party anti virus (even paid versions "Appear" enabled and running but they blocked by win 10) B. Only Windows defender works for win10 and Cannot be disabled or removed (so major security issue there obviously) A. No..? Stop talking out of your ass. B. No, all A/V applications work fine... Remind me again how that is a security issue..? How do I know? Deployed two products in our environment (about 400 users) without an issue and they're working nominally.
