Is it possible to upgrade from normal to premium version?

I have Battle of Stalingrad Early Access Normal version.

Is it possible to upgrade to Premium without paying the full price?

Yes just go ahead and buy the extra planes dude! I did it myself once!

AFAIK, other than the warm glow you get from supporting the devs, the premium version (now) only include a few collector planes and if bought in development one gets an icon in the forums, so the easiest way is to simply buy the collector planes. (AFAIK)

Isn't there a sale in progress or coming up soon? Buy the two collector planes and you have essentially upgraded. You have all of the other content already.

My friend on steam got IL-2 on G2A and got the "starter edition" and all he can fly on multiplayer is the LaGG3 and 109F4 with no unlocks, he's been playing through the campaign, but its taking him a very very long time! To unlock things.

 

If he buys both La-5 and FW190 will this upgrade his account and unlock all the mods?

 

Or does he have to either grind like its war thunder or repurchase the game?
