BUT Whilst,overall the trees are now much better, if bank over a forest groups of them now spin with me like they are some type of arborial AAA. Unavaiodable or something that can be looked at? I was looking at the trees, and while they look a bit better from the side, they seem much worse when banking from above like you've described. Ribbon Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Not like they do now i noticed spinning trees long time ago and it always sticking my eyes (i always said we should mount machine guns on trees and use them as AA) so i think it is as they were before but maybe now it is more noticable for you cos there is no more trees pop ups. i'm sure one day that will too come on schedule to fix, step by step. cheers! 1

19//Moach Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 they would spin before - but then they'd also pop and twitch as well the latter is fixed, and the game seems generally smoother too - so the patch was some improvement in that sense... the clouds also look better, as do smoke and particle effects, which now cause less FPS drops when lots are rendered at any one time besides that, not much has been gained by those of us without VR... here's hoping the next patch will be the one to bring the desperately awaited rudder fixes (ask a P40 pilot) and that shiny new IL2 as well

=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 yeah just checked again and still you can see trees loading into game around the 4-5km mark?Why not just push the 3d models back another 2-3 km Beyond visual rangeWill share video later buy you can actually count the trees loading in along a road as you get closer.you can see them load 1 by 1. Also the low quality line like in picture above (why is it so close atleast double it )
unreasonable Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Doubling the radius increases the area, so presumably the processing requirement, by 4 times: although I do not know how heavy the processing requirement for this is, I assume this is the same graphics vs FPS issue as for plane/object rendering distance. Personally I would prefer this as a slider option as well.
