I dont know, weather there are any bugs, because my game does not even start after the installation of the new patch. Maybe this patch is a (very late) April Fools. I hope they fix it today, because i have bought the game a few days ago and now it is not working

The new "Hide GUI to gain FPS" feature is not bad but leads to a massive problem in online matches because with a hidden GUI the player cant recive any server messages (like XY is attacked at sector 1123.5 ) and the chat is shut down too,which leads to the situation the players without Headset cant coordinate their movements on the Map. By far not everyone have a headset or uses Teamspeak!

Sharpen feature needs to be scalable - maybe three presets like the overall graphics options. I love what it does for the cockpit and terrain but it is awful for shiny highlights like window scratches and water reflections. Those items are very blocky/pixelated and the 'bloom' is very oversized. Breaks the immersion and makes spotting a little harder through the windscreen. I'll be reinstalling Reshade soon and adjust graphics that way anyway.

Yup, that was my next point. Chat window needs to be separated from the HUD like icons. Also make it three position selectable from the GUI; top right, top left or bottom right (HUD is in the bottom left so that's probably not an option).

There will be a hotfix pretty quick. There almost always is. Have you contacted support? That should be your first stop with this issue.

Also, all airfields under attack bug. When one airfield is under attack all of the airfields show red on the map.

 

Cockpit arrows (always hated them) are always full size regardless of distance to the contact. They are not scaling at the moment. Now would be a great time to just kill them entirely :)

 

Lastly, gamma correction in game and the super dark hangar screen. They are correctable in the GUI but the default is not correct.

I've come to expect problems to crop up with game patches. There are always bugs that inadvertently pop up. Actually, I would be very surprised with any new patch that does NOT have bugs. So... meh. They'll get things straightened out.

Agreed, this is just a thread to simplify the bug squashing. We all expect bugs and with this team we all expect hot fixes because they always get on it quickly. Very happy with the ongoing efforts.
