game wont launch after patch

i downloaded the patch and now it just gets stuck in loading screen and i have to use task manager to get out,is sweetfx with reshade a problem now? dono ill keep working on it

I am getting a different problem after the patch:  I am getting the no connection to the server, check your internet connection message.  

 

If I try to log in off line I get the game needs updating message.  I have updated the game.  

 

No joy for me today.

I have the same issue...maybe they install a new patch correcting the mouse cursor and GUI?...

Problems probably at the master server side. When fixed you should be able to launch into multiplayer and afterwards be able to play offline too.

I can start a mission offline,but no multi-player as I get the "no connection" message,my internet is working with no interruptions.......VR is fantastic!!!

When I launch iL2 with power to my HTC Vive setup I can't get past the loading screen. It will load fine onto my monitor is I cut the power supply to the Vive before launch.

After patching it will not launch for me as well. I have validated files and still dont work. It has started up one or two time's but crashes on mission start.

Getting a 10036 error when trying to load a mission. Plus lost Lapino and some other maps. I only have Stalingrad map now.

 

Already reinstalled the game and tried to scan the files, also tried to delete the cfg file and reset options inside game. Nothing helped so far.

ok i got myn going , i had to do a complete reinstall of il2, ugg but now it works

Okay just got it to launch, I went to settings after reinstall and turned off "seed when downloaded" after that it loaded fine, hope that helps.

I had to set the set my desired frame rate to zero in the "startup" text file. To get it to start after update. Maybe same for you?

Whats the location of this seed file ? I have reinstalled 2 time's now and even put it on a different hard drive. IT will start up after install but when I try to play a mission it crashes to desk top and then will not start back up????

"Seed when Downloaded " is on the launch screen in settings, not a file. Start your launch, click settings, check to see if "Seed when Downloaded " is selected, if it is de-select. Worked for me.

So It turns out if i turn my MSI Gaming app off IL2 BOS works just fine.

I do not have MSI Gaming app. Game does still not start. So I think MSI Gaming is not the problem

Try to run the game as an admin. Try also to run the game frome de il2.exe found in the game folder. Running the game from the launcher can cause performance issues...
