I'm completely confused about these different versions.

I bought BOS on steam, then BOM & BOK on the website, i thought i would be able to transfer the key over seeing as there was a link for that, now it says i can't. I read the FAQ & i still don't know what im supposed to do, i just bought it to play in VR. I just want to play the game.

Easiest would be by activating your licence keys trough the "my profile"" tab in the store on this web page...The licence key can be found within steam  when you use right mouse button in the library page. Just copy paste....I hope this cover your problem...

nrosko,

You don't need to do anything. Just launch your game from Steam and log into your Sturmovik account on the main screen as always. All of your content will be there assuming you activated your Steam copy properly when you bought it, meaning you also activated it on our website after purchase on Steam. A detailed guide on how to do that is here.

You see ALL users (Steam and Non-Steam) access the same database to play the game. When you buy the game on Steam you still have to activate on our website. This ensures no matter where content is purchased it is always activated in our database and connected to your player account in our database, not Steam's. So, that means you can buy content i.e. BOM or BOK outside of Steam and still launch BOS from Steam and be able to access BOM or BOK or Collector Plane content you purchased on our website.

We basically use Steam just to sell the game, not to manage a user database.

I know it can seem confusing, but it's the only way we can support ALL players under one roof. The ONLY difference when not buying content through Steam itself is that it won't show up in your Steam Library. However, since all our content uses the exact same game client - not having one of our titles in your library doesn't affect anything. Think of your BOS listing in your Steam Library and Play button as a shortcut to everything Sturmovik including additional content bought here.

And the Steam key button in your profile was initially created for Early Access users who bought on our website to port their copy over the Steam since we did not initially sell it over there. However, it was being abused so we disabled it for anyone not fitting that category. I will work to make that clearer.

Thanks for the quick reply, actually its very simple then just me. I guess BOK is not out as that wasn't there but BOM was.

If you look under your missing avatar, you will see a gold bar, meaning you have pre- bought BOK

nrosko,

BOK is in Early Access. If you buy today from our website you can already fly some of the airplanes that are included with it. The map is not done yet.

All of our products are what you call Standalone Expansions. Steam has no such category so on Steam we list BOM as DLC for BOS. Otherwise we'd have to have two separate communities on Steam for the same product. To keep everyone together we list BOS as the base titles and BOM and eventually BOK as DLC.

Again, it's confusing at times but its the best we can do with Steam's quirks.

But you should see 'Battle of Kuban' at the top right side, when you enter the game.

And you can fly the 109G4, 110G2, 111H16 and 190A5 in QMB and MP.
