Where is DM discussion?

There is no DM subforum. But DM is very important part of CFS game. What do you think, do we need one?

We could have a subforum for it, but really there's very little to complain about in the DM. Mostly it's the same two issues that keep popping up:

 

1. The effectiveness, or lack thereof, of HE ammunition - often with a few bogus claims of Soviet AC being "too tough".

 

2. The fact that some of the visual representation of damage, bullet holes in particular, could be a lot better.

 

These two topics have been beaten to death already (not saying, that they are without merit, just that they have been covered). Are there any particular issues other than those you'd like to discuss? There could be a ton of issues that I just don't know about, but hiding them away in a subforum is not gonna aid me in finding out.

I'm pretty satisfied with DM, except landings DM, i think hard landings were affecting landing gear damage much more before when i started playing, i'm not sure!

With these i think we would run out of planes pretty fast in MP cos even now ppl have problems with landing.

But hey not everything can be perfect and represent reality 100% so again i think DM is awesome in il2.

DM issues have a life of their own. If there`s a big problem, even small, they`d be numerous threads about it by now. Fact that there isn`t means that people are relatively content with the situation...

 

Unless the Mods have been super-fast deleting them all!

Yes, it is not nessessary i gues, but it wouldnt be big investment either. Those two issues are now discussed on four dif forums. And all the interesting topics die fast after devs move them. I have learn a lot of reading those topics. New guns and ammo and planes and damage will come soon. Perhaps then... Thanks
