Can't bind F16-F24 keys?

Greetings!

 

I'm trying to get around the issue with IL-2 not working well with Thrustmaster's TARGET software by switching as many controls as I can to for example the F(unction)-keys, but I only manage to map F1-F15, and F16-F24 just gives "null" as input in the game. The TARGET event-tester registers the keys so it seems like IL-2 is the culprit.

 

Since I don't have those keys on my actual keyboard and only can map them through TARGET I can't really check if physical keys would work or not.

 

Anyone know what's up?
