Spitfire Replica controls project

Hi all,

So, EAF79_Topsy has been busy, beavering away in his workshop, to create a prototype of a replica Spitfire spade grip. He's developing a throttle quadrant and trim wheels to go with it.

Looks very impressive though! It could be the set that Topsy was referring to when he said about others being out there for 2,000 Euros. I've seen them before at a show and they are very good...but out of reach price wise

I WAS about to buy it, the reason I did not was the fact that it locked me to fly Spitfire, Hurricanes , Typhoons and Tempest. With doubt A Mossie fighter version.

That is what I am struggling with, I simply have a problem

Brilliant peace of kit/engineering/art for sure but I dont see the appeal of a one or limited type cockpit. This even more so now as VR is around the corner. But keep up the epic work well done!!

I get your point, but if you look at the appeal of the Warthog...technically a single aircraft stick. I think this appeals more to the WW2 enthusiast, I can happily see myself with something like this, especially with trim wheels.
