CTD after splash screen

Hey guys, haven't played in awhile, came back and now when I try to launch the game, it just crashes after the IL2 Sturmovik Splash screen.  No warnings, no errors, just CTD's that's it. 

 

Any ideas?

I have the same issue.

Game shuts down just after the "IL-2 STURMOVIK" screen

- Virus (NOD 32) is shot down

Same problem happens with me, the game only seems to launch when I roll back drivers, not using old drivers, the act of changing them at all makes it work for some reason???

I just downloaded BoS.  I notice that oculus and steam/vr both start up.  In the Steam VR box I see in red lettering that il2 is "unresponsive".  The splash screen then pops up for few seconds and poof it's gone.  I have tried other VR games both in and out of steam that work.  il2 is the only one that responds "unresponsive".

 

 

*edit*  Two hours later and now it's loading and playing just fine.  There was no tweaking on my part but it runs.   

 

*edit* *edit*  Now 5 hours later Steam VR is again reporting that il2 is "unresponsive" in red.  No tweaking  on my part again.  Hopefully this CTD is being looked into.

Same here when I tried to launch the game the other day (before VR patch I'm pretty sure) for the first time in a while. If I reboot my PC it seems to work once, but after that it crashes almost immediately. I never reach the login screen.

MSI Afterburner seems to be the problem for me.  After I disable it all looking normal!
