Well not drinking is a bit drastic i think. Just don't drink to much. Not every day and i think one should be fine.

I love beer and sausage, but I no longer consume them because they give me gout. Same goes for soda (Coke). Whiskey's no problem though! Needless to say, warm summer evenings are hard to bear without ice-cold lager.
