pappy3122 Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Not sure if any of you are in the Pennsylvania area, but the first weekend in June is ww2 weekend at the mid Atlantic air museum. It is a ww2 airshow/reenactment event all weekend. The reason i brought it up here is for the first time a p63 Kingcobra will be flying. I know it was used in the eastern front and figured it might be interesting to post here. I am a ww2 reeactor and my unit spends the weekend, so if you guys stop out look me up and i will show you around. We stage multiple battles through out the day, some including armor. This years list of flying aircraft are B29 Superfortress B24 Liberator A ton of B25 Mitchells B17 Flying Fortress TBM Avenger S2BC Helldiver P40 Warhawk P63 Kingcobra Many p51 Mustangs FG-1D Corsair FM2 WIldcat C47's Sky Trains C46 Commando A ton of trainers and liaison aircraft Here is a link to the webpage for the event. pm me if you want any more info. https://www.maam.org/wwii/ww2_acft.htm 1
