9JG54_GermanWolF Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 Hi friends, I have a question, flying in the BF109E7, I verified that the water radiators are not controllable, I wonder why they are not simulated?
DD_Arthur Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 Hi Germanwolf. As Uwe says; water rads are controllable. Go to control settings. What you want is in engine controls = "water radiator shutters control axis". I can't remember what the default key assignment is but I've got mine on the throttle lever of my MSFFB2. 1
Original_Uwe Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 Thanks DD I couldn't remember the control name.

THANK YOU FOR THE ATTENTION, BUT IN THE E7 MODEL THAT IS NOT AUTOMATIC, IT IS NOT CONTROLLED. CONFIRM? I already have all controls right, but in e7 does not open nor close the radiators, do a test.
1CGS LukeFF Posted April 4, 2017 1CGS Posted April 4, 2017 (edited) Good grief, stop with the ALL CAPS already. If you're playing in Normal difficulty mode, the game controls the radiators automatically. Expert difficulty, they are just like the radiators on Soviet planes. Edited April 4, 2017 by LukeFF 1
DD_Arthur Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 CONFIRM? Hi Germanwolf. The E7 really does have manual radiators. I think LukeFF is right. Perhaps you have your game in Normal Difficulty mode? To check; go into the QMB screen and down the bottom right is the select realism button. Click on it and then select custom mode and UNCHECK all the boxes except; Object markers Allow spectators Warmed up engine Auto pilot Now launch a quick mission with the '109 E7, use your water radiator control, look down to your right and watch the radiator control handle go round - just like in CoD! Btw; to get rid of the object markers on screen, press the i key. Hope this helps
