Flight Recorder issue

After recording a few flights, [four], after a fresh reinstall of Windows 7 pro, and IL-2 BOM-BOS-BOK, went in fight records to rename recorded flights, which I did. Back in sim recorded a flight, went into Flight Records to rename flight, and screen froze up, requiring a reboot. Went back into sim, and everthing seems to work find, except the Flight Records screen freeze up. Had the same problem before[long story]. Basically, when I right click on Flight Records menu screen to open , screen freezes up, requiring a reboot to clear.

   This is exactly what happens to me       it recorded a few times when I first  installed and played then I added Battle of Moscow  and if I click on flight records it freezes up and I have to close everything and start over I  emailed support  but got no help        Have you managed to solve this ?

   well it took a long time but i fixed this        I went into c. programs (x86) >steam >stean apps .  . il2 bos .> common> data > tracks     ( I think that's the path)  to the trak recordings      . when I got in there, there , were  about 20 files  mostly tracks but some from clod some how and a few other oddly named things    I took them all out and stuck them in a file on my desktop  just temporarily t o clean out the track files. and save them incase I needed them later .

 

When the track folder was completely empty I went into the game  and could open the flight record again  it recorded properly    etc   .I made a few recordings to check things  all ways ok. However , I tried to change the name of one of the tracks with in the flight records and it  stopped again  so now I don't change the names any more in there and it works ok .

I can record and make videos off the tracks  etc now I can     see how my bombs are falling and see how raids and attacks went which is of course a big help for a bomber. I hope this helps some one else if they have that problem    12.26.17                 TGIF
