L3Pl4K Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Hello folks, i am sure many of you know, that the 109 F/G gets overheating message in winter. The overheating message comes in different situations. Climbing, flying with top speed etc. Does anybody knows, is this only a message bug or takes the engine damage? I make a video, for demonstration(climbing). The overheating starts at 2:19 minutes. 109g2overheatwinter.rar 1
Major_Issue Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 (edited) For some reason the automated radiator shuts too close in winter. It can be remedied by taking over manually. Its not a buged message, its really getting hot. Edited April 1, 2017 by Der_Kurfuerst

=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 So it overheats while on cruise power with radiator on auto ?? :O wow thats nasty if true.Of course overheating on long boost makes sense denser air = leaner mixer = higher cylinder temps = hotter coolant
