But could I ask you, according to the Jasta Boelcke history by Grub street press... it states that by the time the Jasta received it's Dr1's, they had switched to their Prussian colours and their tri-planes tails and elevators were half white and half black...

Yep, you can just make that detail out on the photo he used as a source, though the reflection off the plane makes it difficult.

I tried downloading the skins for Bolle, Klimke, Vallendor and the Italian P-39 from page 15, but all of them get the same error message when I try to use Winrar: "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged".

Try updating winrar to latest version... I have just downloaded the skins with no problem

I used 7-zip... had the same problem awhile back and updating it solved it.

You could try using 7-zip and see how that pans out?

Edit: I'm a dummy, too used to having to extract skins.

When you download is not a 21 mb. dds?? why you need 7zip,or what...for me is in dds ,so ready to use.
