Any way to change my on-screen name?

When I first installed the alpha there was a profile setup that had flags and shizzle. It never worked for me and the only way I was able to successfully log into the server was by using my email address instead of a profile name. I've since seen player youtube footage where they have a name instead of an email address in the top-left corner of their screen. I'd like to get rid of my email address from up there and change it to a name. Is this possible? I've searched through the game files but no joy.

Mine also seems to be locked up.

 

It's probably on the server side. Both country and username.

 

As I reinstalled the game but game haven't asked me for username again. Nor country too.

I believe it was said that this will be possible eventually.
