=gRiJ=Roman- Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 I am making videos unfortunately I used a version of Movie Maker that is from 2012 and not supported anymore by Microsoft. I am short of effects and animations and I would like to get more but I cannot find them. Any suggestions about a new software or new upgrades? Thanks
johnmw54 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 for recording and stuff i suggest using OBS, a powerful open source software
jafa Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 If you have an Nvidia card use Shadowplay , plenty of tutorials on utube. Cheers Jafa
=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Wait OP..You talking about Recording Or Video Editing Afterwards.Recording- Shadow player- Open Studio- Fraps- MSI AfterburnerEditing- Movie maker (worst)- something from adobe (probably the best)
Apache600 Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 I use Nvidia shadowplay to capture the video. And Cyberlinks PowerDirector for editing.
unreasonable Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 I use FRAPS for capture - easy and reliable, not too expensive. I made a number of films with the most recent MovieMaker, but it has fewer effects than early versions and is hopeless with long or complex films. Hangs and crashes, crashes and hangs. Derisory support. Now I have picked up the entire CyberLinks package - PowerDirector plus audio editing, was at a good discount. A vastly superior product - used it to produce my IL-2 movie.
