I have very severe problems with the wobbling especially when I zoom in and my sights bounce all over the screen like a wild horse.  :(

I have watch Bismark's video (IL-2: Battle of Stalingrad - The Wobble and how to fix itand I have already set it in 80% pitch sensitivity and 0.9 Noise Filter but I still have to try to see if it's better now.

but what is exactly "joystick noise filter"?   I think I don't realy understand the idea.

My wobbles were gone when I replaced my Saitek x52 with Gladiator pro (and stiffer springs). Saitek was springs were too soft for my taste. I was constantly over steering and then compensating and causing my aim to jump all over the place.

Noise filter eliminates spiking if your controller does that.

Yep, someone from another squadron told me that it depends on the joystick's brand and that there was a threat discussing that, unfortunately I cannot find it. If this is accurate I wonder if it is a manufacture issue or a game bug ... no blaming anyone, of course, just trying to solve this problem. It is almost impossible to shot down a plane in a deflection with such a wobbling.

For me it was rather about spring tension than brand of joystick. Saitek had rather weak spring so it was easy to move the joystick too much. That leads to situation where you move joystick to opposite direction to correct previous mistake.

I guess that "Noise filter" is for deal with joystick axis "spikes", what modern joystick with contactless sensors - Warthog, T.16000M, G-940, X-52, X-55/56, Defender Cobra M5, VKB Gladiator - theoretically don't have.

I still use X52 throttle unit. The slider, that I use for zoom, is spiking at certain positions and Noise filter helps with that.

That's OK, a proper use of "noise filter", since in Saitek X-52 throttle axes is used low cost/quality pot, so spikes is normal. :)
