Muddy Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Why do we not have a separate forum for every aircraft? it would make access to info easier for new people as well as a good history for older member.
JimTM Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 We do have separate pages for each aircraft on the IL-2 Sturmovik Wiki. Everyone is welcome to add to the Wiki valuable information about aircraft (or other topics) that they see in any of the forum categories. There is already quite a bit of information on the current aircraft on the Wiki. Join in when you can and help make the Wiki great (fantastic, the best ever, verrry verrry nice). 2
Guest deleted@30725 Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 What are you implying about old people Muddy?
Muddy Posted March 23, 2017 Author Posted March 23, 2017 Lol Not saying anything offensive, I have learned things about aircraft that I didn't know that I didn't know by surfing through the pages of DCS dedicated to specific units. Sometimes trying to search for things leads to few results . If all the posts about He 111 fo example where in one place then you could kill an hour flipping through posts and quite possibly learn a good deal, and really ,, I know the mention of this will ruffle some feathers as it is not real enough but it is the interweb and simple things can be done
Gambit21 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 IME too many subgroups/forums while seemingly a good idea in theory, really becomes counterproductive. 1
SCG_Space_Ghost Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 (edited) IME too many subgroups/forums while seemingly a good idea in theory, really becomes counterproductive. I agree. The DCS forums are some of the most fragmented, difficult to navigate forums that I've ever browsed. "Subforum for discussing discussion in other subforum" Edited March 23, 2017 by Space_Ghost
