VKB Gunfigter plus new grip ( MCG)

So after much deliberation, I pulled the trigger on the new VKB Gunfighter.

I guess what sold me was their new upcoming Grip offering - the VKB MCG ( Modern Combat Grip).

 

I had originally thought about just using my existing Warthog grip, but then decided no I don't want to go through the hassle and not have my complete Warthog stick as a backup should I ever need. But then they recently announced this new grip, so that pushed me over the edge.

 

My Gunfighter should ship around the end of this month, and then the new grip availability is tentatively around the end of May. Can't order the grip just yet.  I probably won't even use the stick until I have the new grip on it ( gotta have those buttons), so once I have all together set up and flying, I will certainly share my thoughts on this new offering.

 

Also on the new grip, they got some push back from potential customers that it did not have the pinky switch on the front of the grip, so according to their NA rep they have decided they are going to add it for production.

 

Also I understand the new grip will work with some previous VKB models as well.

I want the "few buttons" KG 12-B grip that coming with your Gunfighter, don't trow then in garbage bin like you do with Warthog grips.

Naw I wouldn't do that with a brand new grip, even if I am not using it.

I'm in the same boat, the new grip makes me want to buy the Gunfighter even more. But must... resist... (for the sake of my wallet. Still recovering from last year's Vive purchase and now with baby incoming what used to be excess money is just about to vanish all together)
