Why why? i use Promo code to buy a La-5 S.8 ,the payment failure,i hit "Back to store", and then when i want retry to buy again! and the Promo Code shows:"already used"?! what hell is that happend?

 

Only one chance ?

I also had some issues. Their CC processing service (authorize.net I think) seems to be kind of flaky. As only one promo code can be applied to a cart at a time I tried to make 4 purchases. I had to resubmit once for the second purchase on the CC service site, like 4 or 5 on the third purchase, and on the fourth the CC site failed to work, gave me no error message and would not let me re-submit. My bank has no record of the fourth attempt either. I was just buying extras to support the development so it doesn't matter much to me that I've 3 new plane keys for 4 used promo codes, however others may want to stick to the PayPal method. I'm not sure why I didn't use the PayPal method after the first issue, I'm not sure my brain woke up with me this morning.

Guys,

 

If something is amiss and you have a code that is used but not paid for then please contact support and they should be able to get you a new code. Promo codes are still new to us and we're always working to improve our store system. Our cart is a custom design that fits our needs that is not an off the shelf solution so for us to build new features it takes some effort and sometimes there are issues.

I adjusted a setting that should help in cases like yours. I see your orders and just speak to support and we'll sort it out. We will also work to allow more than one code be used per order during special promos like this one.

No worries and thanks for getting it sorted. I definitely understand bugs happen, especially with a small team and an aggressive schedule.

I experienced similar issue few minutes ago. I had used my promo code for purchasing P-40 and it passed OK. But when I wanted to purchase the Macchi the site showed me an error message that "Duplicated transaction was processed" or something similar. My bank has no track of the second payment but my promo code shows "already used".

We've added the ability to redeem multiple codes in a single Cart. No need to do separate transactions. Just separate the codes with a comma.

I entered two promo codes separated buy a comma. Clicked the apply button and it showed my total with the discount correctly.  The problem is the Buy for Yourself button is grayed out and does not work so I cannot order.  Any ideas why this might be happening?  Thanks

I figured out what I did wrong...

 

When making the purchase, after applying the promo codes and proceeding to checkout, DO NOT inadvertently back out of the payment screen before successfully making the payment. For some reason it makes the promo codes show as already used whether you successfully made the purchase or not.

 

Waiting patiently on my support ticket for new codes on the P-40 and Mc.202. :)

Now it's getting ridiculous. I just got an email from support saying that I did in fact make the purchase with my codes, but I did not. My card was never charged, I never received any activation keys, the planes are not available to me, nor did I purchase them as gift for anyone else. What kind of nonsense is this? If you guys don't want my money, just say so. :angry:

This has been resolved.

 

Exactly 12 hours after my failed payment, the codes became valid again and I got the payment to go through this time without messing it up on my end and I finally have my planes. This being said, the promo code system is quite wonky and needs some work. If you plan on using the promo code, DO NOT BACK OUT OF THE PAYMENT SCREEN OR MESS UP ENTERING YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO!!!! If you back out or mess up, you will be forced to wait exactly 12 hours before the codes become valid again and you are able to give it another go. This is nonsense IMHO, but in defense of the developers, the promo code system is quite new. We are humans and everyone is fallible, but this system punishes one's fallibility with a 12 hour wait. I wont be using it again until it's looked at.

 

Thank god the only other plane I don't own now is the Yak-1b. :wacko:

Just used the codes to purchase 4 shiny new gift planes, all in a single purchase.  Had to click the "apply" button twice before the discounted price was displayed, but I might have just had a "light finger" on that first click.  Otherwise everything worked flawlessly.

Thanks. I picked up the p40 for bom to complete the current planes set at last yesterday and promptly blew up the engine on my second take off :lol:

I think that those promo Codes by design only appear for users who already bought BoS/BoM before the Event started.

 

You may still contact Support though via a support ticket in your account on the website.

Actually, he's right, Jordan.  Jason stated in one of his posts that anyone buying one of the games would be provided with these discount codes in ~24 hours... however, he also mentioned that these codes are a very new thing for them and asked for some patience as they acclimate.  Evidently something didn't work quite right here.

You'll have to sign in.  I believe if you click the red box that says "I have not found a solution in the FAQ" it will get you to a form that goes directly to the right people.  One way or another I'm certain they'll make sure you get your discount codes.  Good luck!

We have to manually push codes to new users. We usually do it once every 24 hours, but our guy wasn't able to do it this weekend. So they were pushed today.

New to this, but been tempted by IL2 for a while, and even more when i see the promo about to end today.

 

Yet nothing on my purchase site, so for now no add on planes.

 

Yet i have a hope they will be discounted for me whenever it might be possible.

I bought BOM this morning and I don't see a promo code in my profile. Mind you, I haven't been able to install the sim yet because I am at war with net framework 4.0.

 

Any chance the code can be made available? Also, will the LA-5 work in BOM?
