19//Moach Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 this is a video of a P40 instructor performing a correct startup procedure on the kittyhawk: https://youtu.be/rki8tnsLodQ?t=201 notice the operation of the primer, no manual cranking of the propeller is done - just a few pumps and he's already on to starting it a further examination of the pilot's handbook details the same procedure as followed in the video - a remark is made about cycling through a few blades as the course of action required to remedy an over-priming situation the procedure currently performed in game, has the engine being primed, and then immediately "unprimed" - a couple of times over.... and it significantly increases the required startup time - which as one may note in the video, is not quite as long as we got
