Bando Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 The stuff people invent. Impressive nonetheless.....
Finkeren Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 So much of human ingenuity going into destroying other people's stuff 1
AndyJWest Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 I can't help thinking that there would have been more point to it if the Soviets weren't going to rip up the track anyway to convert it to broad gauge.
Mastermariner Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 I can't help thinking that there would have been more point to it if the Soviets weren't going to rip up the track anyway to convert it to broad gauge. No afaik they simply laid a third rail outside the other two to meet the USSRs wider standard

Uufflakke Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 That 'Schwellenpflug' serves as a symbol of members who deliberately derail threads. Perhaps we should call them Schwellenpflugs.

Feathered_IV Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 I can just imagine it, towed by a troika-schlepp of Fw-190s
AndyJWest Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 That 'Schwellenpflug' serves as a symbol of members who deliberately derail threads. Perhaps we should call them Schwellenpflugs. I think the term should be limited to people who deliberately derail their own threads, in order to prevent their enemies winning an argument. Definitely common enough to need a label...
