SCG_happy_meal Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Do anyone know the fuel consumption for JU88 For the jumo211 in he111 have i been using 0,9l/km 1,1l/min but have an feeling that the jumo211 in JU88 is consuming alot more fuel on climb settings than the he111 (know that they are not the same enginge).
LLv34_Temuri Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 The Ju-88 has a l/h gauge in the cockpit. Check that.
IvanDolvich Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 I take 1,44l/km with me. This might be a little to much but brings me back home save.
Retnek Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Jumo 211 J handbook states for consumption near ground: Start-up 2600 rpm 1.4 ata 430 l/h Climb 2400 rpm 1.25 ata 345 l/h Continuous 2250 rpm 1.15 ata 255 l/h (for this 10 l engine oil per hour)
=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 ALL PLANES List the stats in game on the breifing page. Here it shows endurance (fuel consumption) - The numbers are very slow speeds tho Flight endurance at 3000 m: 3.8 h, at 300km/h IAS. Fuel load: 1680 Litres 1680Litres / 3.8hours = 442 Litres/Hour AT CRUISE SPEED AT CRUISE ALT
F/JG300_Gruber Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Jumo 211 J handbook states for consumption near ground: Start-up 2600 rpm 1.4 ata 430 l/h Climb 2400 rpm 1.25 ata 345 l/h Continuous 2250 rpm 1.15 ata 255 l/h (for this 10 l engine oil per hour) Pretty much what we have ingame. Heinkel's Jumo 211F are a little more economic. But in both cases I'm taking an average consumption of 300l/h per engine. Never ran out of fuel, unless taking severe hits to the fuel tanks.
=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 (edited) I would base around 350L/hr as this is the Average consumption During Climb power which depending on your sortie will be on climb power for 85% of it.@ 88% power and 90% prop (max climb power) I average about 370L/hour PER ENGINE in 111-H6 Thats a shallow climb 4m/s @ 330kph with 2 x 1,000kg bombs)Keep in mind with planes in IL2-BoX you can run whatever RPM/ATA you want for climb mode as long as it says climb mode and you manage rads/cowls you ok for 30 mins or watever you planes time limit is,The actual rpm and manifold pressure do not matter just what the game considers the min max range for that mode, i often run them high like above that if i level out the rpm spikes and it goes into take off modeThis is fuel consumption of 111 @ 350L/hr with 111 Climbing @ 85% rpm 80% power with 2 x 1t bombs, climbing into headwind also Edited March 14, 2017 by =R4T=Sshadow14
