MadisonV44 Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Since the beginning of this sim Pilot head : Zoom In (instant zoom) is never centered when I want to focus on a spot while progressive zoom works perfectly ... Any tips guys ?
IvanDolvich Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Sry for offtopic: Do we have two different kinds of zoom? Never realized that. For me zoom sometimes feels off center but that is caused by my "felt" view is off center (could be caused by headtracking)
1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 I assuming you are centering view on static object on zoom out view (which is hard to put object in perfect center with track ir) , but You are in motion, when you press key to instant zoom in, it's has to be shifted - out of center. During progressive zooming you are unconscious adjusting view.
KG200_Volker Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 (edited) If you use trackir stop it (default key is F9), set up your pilots position in plane (del-insert-home etc keys) before you hit F10 use your buttons to fully zoom to the gunsight, if it's off center then correct it with mouse, unzoom to the position that you want to use as default and hit F10 to save your setting. This has to be done for each plane individually. Edited April 7, 2017 by KG200_Volker
senseispcc Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 The problem also is that during a dogfight the forces applied to the pilot are reproduced in the game and force the point of view to be lower than the normal view. Am i correct in assuming that it is the problem you encounter?!
