My goal is to be as akkurate as possible, but this is of course always seen with my own eye ;). So I you have some advices, found some errors, post me I will try to enhance the paint schemes as much as possible!

Just follow the site paths and the download links given underneath the picture of the specific paint scheme. Right now these are 2k and 4k-skins and I have included a alpha channel mask in the files and also a special Bump Map file as separate download which is suited to my skins!

Thank you very much for support & Greetings

Great - just a small wish/suggestion, could you please also add generic versions of your skins, without individual numbers and tactical markings. For mission builders like me such generic skins are more useful because they can be used for more than one aircraft.

And Heinrich Krafft's nickname was "Gaudi" not "Guido". ;)

I have the page of Rodeike's book open and... That's life ;) It is changed now :)

Yes of course, I will do generic skins. I also try to resize the skins to 2k, so let's see what is the outcome!

=> The skins for Kraffts plane is now available as 2k version. Please have a look!

Still no luck, but all other downloads work.

I've got my hands on copies of the Kecay Ateliers book series about "Captured Butcherbirds". I have ordered these books today and hopefully shipment will arrive next week :)

RaFiGer-Kecay-03.jpg

So, because there is this fantastic option of doing air acrobatics I think it would be a nice addition to these colourful birds captured by the U.S. Airforce as a acrobatics squad available. These are A3A5 and A6 models so they will perfectly fit into IL2 :)

Of course there are birds captured by the VVS and RAF as well and these I will include also in my new page of "Captured Butcherbirds".

So, the first book arrived and thanks ICDP I could correct my own little Fw-190 A5 Template to start with the Fw-190 A5 of JG 51 & 54 and the "Captured Butcherbirds".

The given model of the A5 is a middle between the early A5 an the A6 model, so that gives the possibility to do Fw-190-A5 and Fw-190-A6 skins without any harm ;)

I have started with a different interpretation of Nowotny's A5 "White 4" and my template differs in some areas from the on ICDP had given, so you seen more maintenance openings and hinges. The loop antenna for the FuG16ZY actually belongs more to Fw-190-A6 models, but it is good to do A6-skins :)

So, here some pictures of my actual work, the skins will be available around mid next week together with two new pages on my home page:

JG54-White4-01.jpg

JG54-White4-02.jpg

JG54-White4-03.jpg

Of course they will all come with Alpha-Channel and a special BumMap-File for my Template :)

I have made some additions for new updates on my little pages regarding IL2 Sturmovik. The new pages covering the Atelier Kecay paintschemes are now online and I prepare the historical inspired pages for JG 54.

Right now you could download the first "Captured Butcherbird" following the links on my new pages.

The first skin comes with a texture package containing a new bump map File (which is necessary for my skins) and a pretty Warbird flown by U.S.A.A.F. pilots till it was abendoned :(

Here's the teaser banner of this page and its special for the Fw-190 Butcherbirds:

Two new paint schemes are ready and beside there are some missing I will make them anyway available for download:

http://rafiger.de/Homepage/IL2-BOS-Museum/Info-CB/Info-CB-Fw-190.htm

I will continue with my stories covering the Captured Butcherbird and will release some five skins more covering the U.S.A.A.F. captured birds, the RAF and the VVS in detail :)

The models I cover are all Fw-190 A3, A5 and G3 Models which will fit the games 3D models. So have a look at my page and I hope you like the paint schemes.

There is one thing I would like to know for my future updates, how do you like the optical illusion of the later wheel covers?

Please tell me!

So I have completed the legacy of the Fw-190 G3 W.Nr. 160057 with all three paintschemes which the plane covered around capturing in Sicily September 1943 up to ending the flight tests in late 1944.

http://rafiger.de/Homepage/IL2-BOS-Museum/Info-CB/Info-CB-Fw-190.htm

I will now focus on JG 54 with presenting 5 paint schemes of Focke Wulf 190 A5 and one A6 model.

The "Captured Butcherbird" series will continue with two Fw-190-A5 captured by U.S.A.A.F. in 1944. Followed by a VVS Focke Wulf from 1943.

So stay tuned & greetings from

Besides the paint schemes for single fighters I will also post a fully marked squadron for missions. Here I will focus on I./JG 51, I. to II./JG54 and for BOK I will changed to JG 52 and their single fighter units.

So, I will also present all skins in 2k and 4k versions with historical correct, faked and/or blank versions!

It would be very nice to have the possibility to change the Bump Map file while choosing a skins but so it is a little bit sad to have only one available :(

Beside my days work and family there is I was busy keeping up my announcements, but there is still a lack of time.
Anyway there will be a some very nice extensions to my renewed pages for IL2-Sturmovik BOS, BOM & BOK in the very near future (hopefully end of the week)

My pages will present in the first stage a lot of paint schemes for Focke Wulf of JG 54 on the Eastern Front & a special presenting the "Gefechtsverband Kuhlmey", which send Fighter & Fighterbombers to the northern front in Finland from June till August 1944.

The template for my skins differs from others and will have an own Normal Map file, because of the additions that I've made to the delivered one. But you will find all included like I did for the already available skins.

There are a lot more to come, with winter skins, the brown planes of JG 54 and of course the "Captured Butcher birds" will continue too...

If there will be time ;) But there is :)

Another update to my paint scheme sector about Jagdgeschwader 54. I have still found some missing things, so I updated all JG 54 skins including the 2k-Version and the Normal Map File (Bump map).

I corrected the "Balkenkreuze" of some skins and added one more plane to the Detachment Kuhlmey Series.

I'm busy in reworking my pages related to IL2-BOS-BOM & BOK, redoing all my older paint schemes of the Fw-190 A3 and A5 Models. I have reworked completely my both used Templates and will add all new skin with these standards.

The pages for JG 51, JG 54 already showed the new skins with also a new BumpMap File (!) and the JG 51 page  shows now all the options which I will include in the downloads.

Instead in having generic skins without markings I will present the paint schemes with historical markings and neutral (FauxHaken) so that the painted schemes stay in its authentic look regarding over spraying of Markings and Stencils.

I will also do all skins in a 4k and a 2k version, so I you like or prefer you could use the smaller skins.

My goal is now to have paint schemes for specific scenarios related to the theatre of war but also paint schemes which shows the development of Luftwaffe Fighters during the War, so for example I will present on a new page ("Colourful Luftwaffe") aircrafts that remain till the end of war in Germany, Czech Territory, and the northern front including Norway (JG 5).

For my Finland scenario I'm working on missions related to the Detachment Kuhlmey, which will include also VVS, Fighter bombers and Finnish planes. Right now I'm a bit stupid in using the mission editor which gives my headache because it is not working in the way I want it working ;)

So, please have a look on my pages and forgive if thee a flaws! This will change but my time is limited and so it takes some time to finish all I will archive :)

Have a look at my revamped pages with some teasers:

I have added another Fw-190-A3 skins to my JG 51 page, the Focke Wulf 190 A3 flown by Oskar Romm September 1942. Bedside the not so good photos I rely the most on Claes Sundin's Profile.

Now I will focus on some different skins, first Focke Wulf s A3, A5 and A6 models and hopefully will finalise my Finland project with some VVS skins and additional Ju 87 paint schemes of SG 3 which was also involved together with the opposing Sovjet fighters and fighter bombers during Sommer 1944.

On a separate page I will present some winter paint schemes to have a coverage of winter related skins too ;)

Here's a teaser picture of Romm's  Fw-190-A3, available on my JG 51 page (link beneath):

Just a small update with two new paint schems and minor adaptations to my pages. There will be a bigger update when th Stuka skins of SG 3 "Schlachtgeschwader 3" ready for download. Thanks to 6./ZG26_5tuka who did the hard work of the remarkable Template :)

The Mission related to Finland is giving me some headache because the editor is not doing what I script him to do ;) But alright that's life I have to figure it out!

So, here two new skins related to the JG 54 in Finland:

The "Black 1" Fw-190 A6 shows the Russian front mixed camouflage with a brown tone. Because I own Michael Ullmanns Books related to Camouflage schemes of Luftwaffe planes I go with his interpretation in short available on this page:

I'm in finalizing the Ju-87 "Dora" paint works for my little "Detachment Kuhlmey" Scenario. Thanks to 6./ZG26_5tuka I have a perfect base for completing the skins for the detachment of I. Group of Schlachtgeschwader 3 during this campaign.

They not all finished yet but they will be latest by end of the week. So here is the first skin available on my new page (not finished too ;))

I have updated my little page related to Schlachtgeschwader 3 and added a second skin of Ju-87-D5 Coded S7-AH, 1. Group of SG 3. I have toned the letters referring to unit code, so that the Ju-87 D5 coded S7-DH now sports a D in RLM 25 green tone.

Some small adjustments to the paint works are done, so my base is ready to complete the Squadron skins related to SG 3 in Finland.

I rely here actually on two books (main source is of course Lento Osasto Kuhlmey) covering the Detachment in Finland and profiles mainly done by Claes Sundin.

So, if you like have a look again on my page:

Another update to my interpretation of the Junkers Ju-87 of the "Schlachtgeschwader 3" during its missions in Finland July 1944. I have update the paint schemes and taken away some flaws. Now you find six skins of the Ju-87 models for download. I have also include now the possibility to download the Normal Map of template creator 1./ZG26_5tuka in case you have'nt download his template.

I will during the next week also adding the neutral skins, right now only historiacal markings as 4k and 2k are availabel.

Here's the link to my little page and under the spolier some pictures of the skins :)
