Fake field object not creating taxi path

I am building some mission in the mission builder but somehow i am unable to add a taxipath to an fake airfield object. 
Should i push some modifier key to place the path or is it simply not possible to start a new taxipath from scratch?

Hit "create chart" in the field properties - and don't forget to set the nationality.
