Blinking skins are back ...

Seriously, so many years after the release of this sim : skin are blinking again. Can ou believe it ?

Yesterday night I joined WoL (don't like the stability and gameplay options taken on this one, but Random Experts was not up ...)

6/7 planes around, every plane was blinking. Just like a mess ...

Can't say I've seen this issue personally. Not since 3 years ago.

No blinking here.

Have you installed any 4K BUMPMAPS (not skins but the bump maps)
These are visible ingame with stock 2K skins selected on servers with skins locked even still.

Was just in a server.  There were 6 planes on the runway with more taxiing.  I was looking around at many of them, zooming, etc.  Never noticed anything.

Oh I have been, yet I've not noticed it.

My wingman had exactly the same blinking ... so I it's not related to my config.

I will check again on WoL to see if anything  has changed  

 

I also had performance problems (that I developed in another post) and maybe all of those were related to the poor quality of the overcrowded WoL server ?

It's pretty common to see bugs resurface over time in games.  This stuff happens and it gets hotfixed quickly because it has already been identified.  Not a big deal and I'm not surprised there are some minor problems given the breackneck pace these guys are working at.

I wasnt addressing the problem in game, I was addressing the whining.

If you like to fly with blinking UFO all around it's your choice mate but don't speak about whiners, don't even loose your time to reply to me ..

How could this bug be re-identified if I don't escalate it ?

Two different whines.  Your 'seriously' and 'can you believe it' both can't be taken any other way.

 

If you took both of those parts of the sentences out you would have still gotten the point across.

 

I never said I want to fly around with blinking UFOs or not to bring forward this issue, in fact I am glad someone reported this.  Those are assumptions you have falsely made.  I never said anything that comes close to insinuating the point of your post was a problem, only the manner in which it was put forth.

 

Thanks for reporting the issue, hope you can get past whatever is causing the other problem.
