Game CRASH*****

Is anyone else having a game crash issue with the error message displayed being "DXBufferMan11::ib(..)DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED" just recently bought the game and for what little time ive been able to play it no more than 30 mins before crash though sometimes crashes the second I get into the campaign Stalingrad part 1. The shortest time played til crash was I hit P to unpause and the game crashed to desktop right there another time I was shooting at a Yak1 and the game crashed right before the rounds hit. That's been the extent of what ive played so far. Any help tips or tips would be greatly appreciated OR info if this is a game issue with a recent update causing the problem a link would be great as well, thank you.

YES! Teammate told me to reinstall DX11 but I haven't had the chance to do it. I have other self-induced issues as well so I am doing a fresh install of the game tonight anyway.

Reinstalled game and DX11 still no good.

I understand this error is related to video card driver crash

 

are you using GTX 780 with latest drivers? this is a known issue

 

what is hardware and video drivers you are using?

I'm on a 780 but using the older recommended driver, per Han.

im also on the 780. Do you know of a fix or is it one of those hurry up and wait situations for a new driver update.

installed an earlier driver version 372.90 and ive yet to have an issue. if you have the 780 and are having problems start there and see if it solves your game crash issues. post here and let me know if it worked out for you.

found a better version 368.81 was found to work better for me then 372.90

I am writing this to ask about the game The 2 Sturmovik - Battle of Stalingrad recently purchased for € 46.99 but that for the past three days is no longer working.

It states that the game was playable for three consecutive days without ever having given crash problems and / or other plus at full resolution and graphics settings set to "ultra".

Yesterday, once made from a simple mission, the game freezes, showing an error and problems on direct x (I seem to have understood the error messages).

I started to do research on the internet, and a steam forum advised to install a video card drivers because you spoke with that would work. So I did as they said; uninstalled and reinstalled the game and installed the video card driver who advised (the driver is not the latest update 368.81). Everything perfectly.

I played it a night and I was convinced that he had solved but after a second reboot I was resubmitted the error.

From what I can gather from the various forums, many users have trouble with this game for the conflict with the video card.

I ask you to get active quickly to remedy this problem; and I remember that during the purchase, the requirements of the game is not about incompatibility with those video cards even if it had to be shown in red letters in order to avoid unpleasant situations.
