310_cibule Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 (edited) Is that the way soviet pilots used to slow down their planes instead of using breaks or should it prove they were always ready to kick someone's a...? https://youtu.be/5aTrmtq6tas Edited February 25, 2017 by 310_cibule
Retnek Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 (edited) Those are the legs of the planes mechanic lying below the pilots seat, checking details during workshop flight AND dying with the pilot if he made an error. Rough manners, those Soviets. Nice detail, never realized they simulated it ( :tease:come on - please don't expect me to mark obvious nonsense with dozens of smilies) Edited February 25, 2017 by 216th_Retnek

SuperCossack Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 i seem to recall a documentary in which someone said that russian airplanes always had short legs.

Lusekofte Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 When modders in IL 2 46 played around with pilot models we had this in several planes. I loved the HS 129 and a pilot mod did this on this specific plane, I had to delete the mod for being able to enjoy the plane
